Fethiye is a town in the province of Mugla located on the west side of The Mediterranean Region. The widest town around the region including the province Mugla, with an area of 3,059 km². 0 Eastern and southeastern sides of the town there is the province of Antalya, the south, southwest and western sides are surrounded by Mediterranean while northwest of the town by Dalaman and finally on the north side there is Denizli and Burdur. Fethiye which is hiding the Antique Telmessos city like a pearl is on the east side of The Fethiye Bay and on the southwestern side of The Fethiye plain. The coastal road starting from Izmir-Mugla and reaching to Antalya passes from 1 km east of the town. By taking this road, the distance to the province of Mugla is about 130 km.
